When does Ramadan 2027 begin in Saudi Arabia?
Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin on Monday, 8 February 2027 according to the Umm al-Qura calendar, with Eid al-Fitr expected on Tuesday, 9 March 2027. The month begins on the sighting of the crescent moon, so the start may move by one day. If it does, we adjust your flights and hotel nights with no change fee.
Which hotels do you use for the Ramadan Umrah packages?
Every Ramadan package stays at Maden Al Rawda, Madinah and Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel, Makkah. Both are a short walk from the Haram, which matters a great deal in Ramadan when you are walking to the mosque five times a day plus taraweeh.
Are meals included?
Daily suhoor is included at both hotels for the whole of your stay, so you are fed before the fast begins without having to arrange anything late at night. Iftar is not included, which leaves you free to break your fast in the Haram, where dates and water are distributed each evening.
Which ashra is best for Laylat al-Qadr?
The last ashra. Laylat al-Qadr is sought in the odd nights of the final ten, and the 27th night, expected on Saturday, 6 March 2027, is the most sought after. Our Last Ashra package covers all of these nights and lets you choose whether to spend them in Makkah or in Madinah.
Can I choose to visit Makkah before Madinah?
On the Last Ashra package, yes. You choose either Madinah first or Makkah first at the time of booking, at the same price. The First and Second Ashra packages are Madinah first.
Do the packages include flights from the USA?
Yes. Round trip airfare from major US airports is included, along with the Saudi visa, hotels, all ground transfers in Saudi Arabia and guided ziyarah in both cities. Tell us your nearest airport and we will confirm availability.
Do I return home before Eid al-Fitr?
Yes. The Last Ashra package flies home on Monday, 8 March 2027, which is 29 Ramadan, so you are back with family for Eid al-Fitr.
